ABOUT US
student-founded, student-run
In February 2021, four students from the WHS Robotics Team came to school with the idea for Equity Club.
With big goals in mind, they started the club in Mid-March and recruited over 50 students by the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
So far, Wenatchee High School Equity Club has celebrated Women's History Month, Autism Awareness Month, Pride Month, Native American Heritage Month, Black History Month, and Mental Health Awareness Month by creating and distributing educational zines and posters. The club plans to continue to work to promote awareness, equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout the school and the community.
