  • -Feelings of sadness or hopelessness

  • -Angry outbursts/easily frustrated

  • -Loss of interest in normal hobbies

  • -Sleep disturbances/ lack of energy

  • -Reduced appetite, or increased cravings

  • -Anxiety/restlessness

  • -Slowed thinking or body movements

  • -Feeling worthless or guilt

  • - fixating on past mistakes

  • -Trouble concentrating, making decisions,

  • remembering things

  • -Unexplained physical problems, back pain or headaches

  • -Frequent or recurrent thought of suicide or self harm



Some coping mechanisms for depression:
  • -talking to a therapist

  • -expressing yourself through writing/drawing

  • -saying positive affirmations

  • -try to stay involved


If you have two-three weeks of constant low self-esteem think about reaching out for help.
